Estimated Front Brake Pad Life?

Haven’t gotten more than 55-60k out of them.

I am at 85K on the original brake pads.

On my 4th gen the original brake pads were replaced around 100K, so I guess nothing “special” about 5th gen brake pads… LOL

Does anyone have any input to how long the front pads should last? I know it will depend on how you drive and other factors, but I am looking for a rough estimate. I currently have 25,000 miles on my 2010 SR5.

Wow, sounds like these brakes are last a long time.

. . . which makes me wonder why the brakes on my 2018 with less than 17,000 miles sometimes squeak (especially when it's colder). Anyone have any ideas?

I'm going to take the wheels off and have a look this weekend.

Hit 94K and was ready to do complete brakes but when I pulled everything off I still had 6mm on front pads and rotors looked good so put the front pads on the shelf. Rear pads were at 3.5mm so I went ahead and did a pad swap - rotors looked good. Lots of research on parts and ended up with Akebono Pro-Act ceramic pads. Will see how well they hold up. I live in the mountains and try to stay off the brakes on the downhills. No in town stop and go - mostly longer hauls.
