I, too, have an 06 V8 with a manifold leak. Trying everything to avoid purchasing the $700 replacement part. The issue is that i can't get anybody to address this problem. Any one I have found who will tackle removing and replacing the manifold doesn't want to weld it. I'm told that unless you have a special jig you run the risk of the manifold warping form the heat of welding and will then have an issue when re-installing. Would welcome input from any one who has had the welding repair done successfully. All comments and suggestions welcome.
