Expo Trailer Wheel ???? Who Knows

Here it is, I have a little problem with a build we are doing. We are building 2 expo trailers (by we, Rocktek Customz) and I have pushed very hard toward exactly what I wanted. The trailers both have dual Mombasa Tents, Rockwell axles, and tons of cool high end hardware. Last night we went to hang the tires and wheels on the trailer (wheels are 05+ Tacoma wheels) and the are offset so far they touch the trailer frame, you cannot even get them on enough to start the lug nuts. I really want to run a Toyota wheel on this thing, but I cannot think of any Toyota 6 lug wheel that will have a 0 or close to offset, i need about 4 inches.

Does anyone know of, or have a older model Toyota steel or alloy wheels that may give me what I need. I am thinking old FJ40 or something..

Your leaving out parts of the equation to determine what wheel you need.

Saying zero offset is not enough as there are plenty of size rims with 0 offset depending on width of rim.Depending on how wide of rim you want to use and a 7" or 7.5" width rim and would be right on for a 245/70/16 tire. Also 4 inches less backspace would likely require custom wheel spacers as i doubt ,there are any wheels have that small of backspace .See the chart,the numbers are offset in mm, and here's a link to some wheel tech. https://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html

Thank you for the info, I can use either a 7 or a 7.5 inch wide wheel, I really do not care witch one. As far as the offset, i am not sure exactly what I need. I need to gain 4 more inches of track width, so each wheel has to be pushed out 2". I considered 2" wheel spacers, but I really would like to just find a more suitable wheel. I can get 7" wide trailer wheels that fit, I simply wanted to try to find a Toyota wheel that would work. I have no idea what the offset or BS in on an 05 Tacoma wheel, but I know they are sucked in way to far to work on a trailer. They are 7.5 inches wide if that is applicable.

Again, I really do not know wheel dimensions very well at all, I just know what I have, and how much more I need. Any chance you know of a Toyota wheel that might work?

Throw offset out the window, it's confusing. All you need to know are rim width and backspace. Measure the distance between the inside mounting surface of the wheel and the inside rim on the Tacoma wheels you've got. Once you know what your current backspace is, you can measure for clearance and know what backspace you need.

In terms of what wheels have what measurements, I can tell you for sure the split 3-spoke TRD alloys are 16x7 with a 4.5 backspace, and the 5 spoke steelies (got mine off a 2000? Tacoma) are 16x7 with a 5 inch backspace.

Thank you, good info, I guess it is on to plan "B" we will make wheels. We have been wanting to do it for a while, there are raw steel kits avail with centers and main rings from 13-16.5, and they can be picked up for less than 35 bucks each. I will post pictures asap

Bite the bullet and cut and splice both axles to run the TV rims...you'll be glad you did. A good welder can make it as strong, or stronger than the original axle (3500# ?)

The only reson I used Spidertrax, was to change the original Dexter 6 x 5.5 hubs from lug centric to hub centric. They added about 1"
