Sounds like some drama happened which I hope isn't the case. A good forum is run like a tight ship, and the mods here are who bring me back time and time again to read about the T4R without wading through unnecessary nonsense.
Anyway, I always appreciated your insights on matters and wish you luck. (Though I hope you reconsider!)

Does anyone know what he purchased? Sounds like someone gave him an offer he couldn't refuse and he decided it was time to pack it in. All very peculiar. Just like [MENTION=85512]eddiebx[/MENTION]... that guy just disappeared too. Not to hijack a thread but he was always so nice and I've always wondered what happened to him. I hope both he and [MENTION=66316]1engineer[/MENTION] are well.

Sorry to see you go 1engineer. In the short time that I’ve been here, I’d come to appreciate your knowledge and insight, and the time that you obviously put into your posts and into the site. I felt privileged when you “liked” one of my posts! Moderating an open forum, especially one of this magnitude, has to be an enormous task. I’ve seen how quickly some of the (much smaller) mountaineering forums that I participate in quickly get out of hand.
