Hi, just purchased a 2018 sr5. I turned down the extended warranty as I wanted to do more research. I'm not going to put a ton of miles on it as I have a commuter car. So my game plan is more years and less miles on the warranty. I was offered an 8 year/75k warranty but thought I might be able to do better. If you could provide a quote for me that would be great. Thank you so much!!!

I have a 2014 limited 4runner and purchased the extended toyota warranty. for the first 3 years I did not need any repairs and thought I really didn't need to purchase the Extended W. However, just the other day, my radio finally went bad also the back up camera would sometimes not work. Toyota is going to replace my Unit with the extended warranty for free and quoted me 1200 + labor.
I ended up breaking even but it was nice that I didn't have to come up with 1200 all at one time.

Hello, I’m a new member of this forum and have been researching here on pros cons of purchasing the EW through my Toyota dealership. My husband just bought a new Tacoma and paid $1600 for 8 yr/120,000 miles. We are purchasing my 18 SR5 Premium this evening and I anticipate them trying to sell me the same thing. Can someone please provide insight as to what these other EW being quoted here are all about? Thanks in advance!!!

A couple months back, the price for 10 years / 100,000 mile coverage was just north of $1,300. (This is genuine Toyota coverage, not aftermarket / third party.)
