My lease on my 2018 SR5 Premium is running out next year as I planned on purchasing this truck afterwards. Will I be able to purchase an EW when I buy my truck after the lease is over? If so, can you please provide pricing for your best EW. Truck v=currently has 40K miles. Thank you in advance.
Please educate me on why people with 2021 are getting quotes. I thought you could wait until right before the 3/36 was getting close and then jump to extended warranty. I have a 2020 Limited with 15K miles. When should I get my extended warranty? Thanks.
I'm assuming to get it and be done with it, incase a contact for a good price disappears, or just to forget about doing it later. You can wait - I'm at 33.7K and adding it now... really doesn't affect anything to wait or buy now. You just don't want to delay, find yourself at 36,001 and going "whoops I forgot to add it".
I just found your information while searching for EVW.This....
Some auto manufactures are doing away with out of state warranty purchases. Toyota cracked down and shut off several avenues about 4 years ago, mainly targeting internet direct sales.
These good deals can dry up over night. My first good contact DOUBLED the price over night about 3 years ago and I found another source.
Also, makes no difference if you buy now or later it still covers the same time and mileage.
Keep in mind people the warranty you purchase is AFTER your factory warranty but must be purchased during your factory warranty mileage or time frame, 3 years from the date it was driven off the lot BRAND NEW or 36,000 miles.
For example if you buy a 8 year - 100k plan the first 3 years are still under manufactures warranty so you are covered for FIVE years and 100,000 miles.
Many think the warranty takes effect after the manufactures expires and that is not the case.
I hope this info helps our members...
Cheers
