F / R control arm question

Looking to prepare myself to replace bushings in front and rear control arms at some point this year. Was hoping to find a donor vehicle, remove the arms, replace the bushings and other associated parts, then transfer over to my truck.

In doing a little research I see that not all the years are interchangeable.

Mine is a 1997, 4wd, auto.

What years would be compatible for direct swap of the entire control arm, front and rear.

Where is the info regarding different years having different control arms?
I know the '01/02 rear ends had some small changes for the brake line setup, but that's all I knew about.
Teach me!

You might want to verify your info source, Toyota part numbers are same for
all 3rd Gen contol arms according to Toyota parts sites.
I did what you plan with parts from a 96 to 01, 01 to 96 swap, no worries.

I will have to re read the article / forum that I was looking at. I could have sworn it said the 96 rear arms were different.

If not, then great, because I'm looking at doing the swap this year sometime and just want to be prepared.

The only difference is that the 96-98 rears had different bushings. The 99-02 bushings aren't as stiff & flex better. Also the 96-98 rear lowers have that "sharks fin" on them.
