Factory Fob remote start

I have a limited v8 4runner I am wanting to add remote start too. I am a bit worried though as I am reading that the anything but the factory ones can roast/enrage your ecu. I also really like the idea of just pushing my lock button twice and holding it to start my 4runner so I don't have to carry around another fob. Anyone have insight or done this? The instructions here seem to be what I would want http://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/omnav/OMTADG0290D/pdf/T-ADG-0290-D.pdf

Avital 4003 will allow you to add remote start to your factory fob. I have mine programmed so that hitting the lock button 3 times starts the car.

acronin2 did you have to buy a bypass module on top of the 4003 kit?

So does anyone know if the remote start modules for the 5th generation will work with the 4th? I have tech stream to program it if it does work.
