factory front mud flap install

so i just picked up my set of factory front mud flaps, and i was wondering about how to install them. for those of you that have done it, i know there is 3 bolts that screw into 3 holes inside the wheel well, but how do you attach the little pin like thing, or more or less, how is the underside attached to the rig?

ill post some pictures in a little bit to help explain more

It's a rivet, you need a riveter. I learned that the hard way too.

it's only one rivet. I painted my left one black but not my right lol. I just realized that.

Rivet guns are fairly inexpensive to buy and brainless to use. Just add it to your tool collection...

I have been looking at mud flaps online as well. I want to take off the running boards, but want flaps to protect my paint. Did you get these from a dealer? Post a picture with them installed when you finish.
