all 3rd gen 4runner manual info should have the same info as far motor, transmission, troulble codes. with little minor difference.

i heard its like all-data though...and that its all diagrams, tolerances, torque specs, etc..

Anyone ever use the online toyota service system??

yes,

I used it recently to pull down all the current TSB's for the 06 4-runner.

They have alot of info actually available all is downloadable. There is one section for owners manuals, I assumed that the entire manual would be available to download. I didn't go to the actual page, just looked to see if my 92 cruiser was there (it was) and the 06 4runner.

TIS does have the FSM there, along with owner's manual, TSB and new model changes/features. BUT the FSM is broken up into hundreds, if not thousands of PDFs to discourage people from downloading it.

Yes, I missed in your 1st post, you were looking for the FSM, not owners manual. I looked at the FSM also and like you said, it's broken into a ton of small files. It's desiged for someone who has a shop and can pay their full years subscription, as they would only look up the part of the FSM they need for a certain repair.

Sorry if I gave you a bum steer.
