Fake ebay injectors?!??

Hi everyone,
I'm doing some major work on my vehicle today and while I was sorting the parts I've gathered...I noticed something a bit off putting.....

Are these injectors fake? I bought them on eBay from PARTSCOLLECT, several sets sold. Here's a link:

New Set of 6 Fuel Injectors 23250-62040 For Toyota Tacoma Tundra 4Runner 3.4L V6 | eBay

THEY LOOK LIKE AISIN 23250-62040's

But not as pictured in eBay auctions they came in a brown box and have red or rings. Check photos below.

Am I being paranoid...they look ****ing spot on?

Here's a link to the auction I won:

No where in the ad does it say that they're Aisin. Brand says "Partscollect", so they are probably cheap Chinese aftermarket. Return them & buy OEM from Camelback Toyota.

Scramble, thanks a lot for your help, you've confirmed my suspicions super quickly....I was literally just about to install. You saved the day buddy,

I've never put an aftermarket brand anything in my runner, other than brakes. Il be damned if PARTSCOLLECT gets this over on me.

You should definitely trust your gut, luckily I swapped a #5 and the experience a few years ago made me look twice at this. At first I thought it was my memory playing tricks, but gut told me these didn't look right, thanks to scramble for heads up

When i go to my purchase history there is a note that says seller has updated the listing, but you can view your item below. In the listing I purchased from it CLEARLY SAYS AISIN

.....but In current, updated listing, it says brand: parts collect. See attached photos. What a thief.

Super disappointing,

That's true now, I hear you, but when I bought it, description said AISIN. Screenshot above. Now it says PARTSCOLLECT. Can you believe that? What a thief.

Not surprised, should just send your originals to be rebuilt/flow matched

Good suggestion. I had the #3 rebuilt and I think given the age of the vehicle I'm just going to swap them all for new, and rebuild the ones I take out , keep as spares.

UPDATE -
just a heads up for anyone, this little issue held me up from taking my engine down to the head.

I was going to change out six injectors, one of which was bad, one of which was rebuilt/cleaned, one of which was 2 years new OEM.

While down there I was going to do everything else, list of parts in my own thread.

Decided instead to just swap the one bad injector for a temporary replacement, and then wait for 6 brand new OEM from a reputable source like the one scramble suggested, and then do the other work I mention above at that time.

Point is, I replaced with a reman and it's running beautifully, so if you anyone out there cannot get an oem in time and needs to get car running, GB reman seems pretty good alternative in a pinch. Here's the link on rock auto:

More Information for GB REMANUFACTURING 84212251

By the way in case anyone is wondering I'll post photos of the one I pulled vs the one from this eBay seller. See below. You can tell by the off colour o ring, the different tip (brown vs exposed silver) and finally the font on the counterfeit looks hand-etched (part number on other side)

Also pictured is a TPS which arrived in a Toyota box today but did not have a Toyota and Toyota part number stamp on it....also purchased on eBay and I realize now IS A MOTHERFUKING FAKE.

Sellers involved: PARTSCOLLECT and AUTOMARTINT914

AUTOMARTINT914 sold me what looks to be a standard motors TPS, but in his auction listed as Toyota oem, even in brand description, much like a$$hole with injectors who listed them as AISIN

Caveat Emptor...

There's a lot of good Toyota parts online if you take the time to look around. Most don't take PayPal though. Shouldn't be hard for you to get your money back.
