Falken Rocky Mountain/Wild Peaks A/T

So i bit the bullet and picked up some Falkens. i didnt want Toyos or the Nittos due to the poor treadwear reviews everywhere. i do 30k a year and do not want to replace tires every year. And the BFG tires every set i have had has had issues. KM's wore funny and started to cup, A/T KO were the best set but the best set but after about 55k on them they dont balance out right after so many shots and they are horrible at highway speeds now.

So after seeing Brandon ( AKA Stick figure) bite the bullet and go from his BFG's and try the Falkens i said what the hell why not.

here is how they look.

i hope these are good.

Did you have to go to an "E" load rating to get the better tread depth in that size as well? That's been my only complaint so far. That 10 ply sidewall has made me more aware of some rattles in my gear/tools than the 3 ply BFG's ever did.

Nope B i went with the 8 ply Load rang D didnt fell like running the E load tires becuase they were more harsh.

your lucky ... in the 265/70/17 Size you have the option of a basically a passenger car tire with 13/32nd tread depth and 2 ply sidewalls or the LT version which is the E load rating and 17/32nd. Almost makes me wish I would have kept my factory 5 stars.
