Famous exhaust leak

I have a 2003 with the V8 (145K miles)....I bought it about 4 years ago with (117K miles) and have loved it....about a week after I bought it I noticed the exhaust leak mostly passenger side, and have not really had the time to fix it. Its getting louder and it is annoying. What is the best way to go about fixing it? Heard welding and re-install or even headers with some modifications....what y'all think?

any opinions or anyone ever installed either of these? I would prefer to replace rather then weld I think.....

If your exhaust manifolds are cracked just get a pacesetter manifolds from amazon. They are about 230$ .
I have put them on my truck last summer and they works fine

Doug Thorley makes headers for the V8 now too. $750, ceramic coated.
Edit: Oops, you have an 03'. They don't work on the 03-04.

You may be able to cut off the air injection part and they'll work. It's extra over your year. Call doug thorley and ask them.

I called him, and he can send me the headers for the 05-on but he says for the 03-04 they don't make them. Has anyone ever cut the header and welded the cats back in?
