fat lip bumper flares on a 98 bumper?

Has anyone installed flares from a fat lip bumper to a 98 limited bumper? looking at pictures, the mounting tabs on the flare look different. Curious if anyone has been there/done that?

Yup, they're different. Better to use the '98 bumper flares.
