Check your fuel spout hose and how it attaches to the cap. I had one where the hose came free from the cap. I'm not sure if the gas somehow weakened the glue seal but it leaked like an SOB once i tried to fill. I see many users opt for the Super Siphon https://www.amazon.com/Super-Easy-S...2483&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=super+siphon&psc=1 for transferring gas.

Thanks. Appreciate that. Question: did it leak for a few seconds then stop? I've read this is due to the fact that it is vented internally. Just curious. I should probably try to use it soon!

My cap was defective. I don't know if it was due to heat, or poor manufacturing. I still have the bag that it came in; i only used it once or twice.

The downside is storing the spout and/or siphon once used. You have a rack, so that's an easy location.

Made and installed the axe/shovel and jack mounts this weekend. Seems pretty solid. Also got a good start on the jerry can mount.

Care to share how you gabbed these mounts? I have the same rack. Curious.

In preparation for our trip, my son and I made the side and rear window screens this past weekend. Thanks to a write up from MyHigh, this solution was cost effective, and quite easy.

Care to share how you gabbed these mounts? I have the same rack. Curious.

Sorry for the bad picture, I really hope to getter better with the documentation piece of this as I plan to bring this through our adventure.

Two quick fists purchased on Amazon
Piece of flat stock to mount them on with lock washers and lock nuts
Conduit hanger (I believe #0) to attach to Gobi
Free gun lock from the police department to secure the axe/shovel
Bungee in the middle just in case something should let loose as a safety precaution

Today's addition; ARB diff breather installed in jack compartment and extended the locker breather up to the jack compartment.
