I will email some of the guys from the last trip.

I would suggest getting a CB. I am ordering one this week.
 
I've heard Pinyon Mt Rd is a great drive. "The Squeeze and The Drop off" is an area of the road that become challenging. Once you go through The Squeeze there is no turning around. It's a one-way. I've never driven it, but I've been told it's safe to do with multiple trucks in case someone gets stuck. I plan on driving it on my next trip to AB.
 
You know what, I can't afford a close to $40k truck :).

Has anyone thought of more basic trails lol... Is it still only the 4 of us?

Take DiGiorgio Rd North to the end. It turns into a dirt rd. Take that into sheeps canyon. there are a few water crossings, and a rock lined rd. I saw stock jeeps, and Tacos going up the rock rd. Its a nice drive out into the canyon. It's an out and bike run that may take a few hrs. I did it a few weeks ago with my fiance. Its a nice drive with some great views.
 
Im pretty sure I'm off and would definitely like to head out, but I'd like to find a co-driver to accompany me. Keep me on the pending list.
 
Does anyone have a swr or some way of tuning a cb that is going to anza borrego? I have everything installed but I'm not sure how to tune my antenna. Super pumped for the trip by the way
 
hey man I just got my cb in the mail. I dont think tuning it is a big deal since we will be sticking together pretty close on Sat.
