Hey guys searched and noticed no one is running this tires. Wanted to see what everyones opinion of them are. My brother has them and he loves them the size im looking at is 285/70-17, i have a 3/2 lift that i just had installed. Let me know what yall think

also plan on getting the wheels spacers at 1.5" hub centric

I think you will need to do some slight modding to fit the 285s? I think it depends a lot on your particular vehicle, but moving the front fender forward and maybe realigning for more caster, are the two things that come to mind. IIRC, getting wheel spacers will only make the rubbing worse at the body mount :tape:

I would probably skip the spacers for now if I were you, see how they fit first w/o them and then think about it

what tires would you recommend its an SR5 with the readylift 3/2 looking to get tires in the next week dont need to be aggressive but want a good look ive ran alot of tires and this i havent yet thats why i was seeing

I've read great reviews on the Cooper AT3 tires from most of the guys here that run it. It's not quite as "aggressive" looking but certainly not too shabby in the looks department either!

Not a bad tire at all would i be able to stay that the 285? also looking at the Trail and Terra same size, if i didnt do spacer they would both be ok right? both measure just shy of 33, i believe 32.76

Sorry for all the questions, my brain hurts trying to figure this all out haha my last truck was a 2011 rock warrior on 9" and 35's was easier to fit tires then the 4runner is

We have very few "show" vehicles here in the 5th gen section. There are a few posers but most everybody here mods to improve performance not so much looks. It is a pretty truck though.

I'm new here too, from what i see lots of ppl are running GY Duratracs, ofcourse bfg all-terrains or KM2's. I just went with some Cooper st-maxx's because i have duratracs on my Tundra and im not very impressed with them after putting 30ks miles on them.
Based on your lift 285's are probably your max size and you may or may not get some rubbing.

Not building this one for show either, im about an hour from rausch creek and want to get this thing ready for there in about another month just looking for the tire size i can run

yea i read it just doesnt say with which lift you have it says the 285s rub so not going with the Federals jumping to a tire thats under 33 but listed as 285/70-17 thanks
