idk man, i know you like your truck a lot, but with some of the mods, I am not sure $8,000 is reasonable.

for the 4wd i have no idea it apparently comes with limited edition, as for price i really really dont wanna sell it only way im gonna sell it is at 8gs, i know it is expansive and may take a while but in that time maybe i will get some money flowing then i will just keep the 4runner

Sorry to say that the mods don't add any resale value, they might even lower it. You might be able to get about $6000 for it.

To the op - Go ahead and try to get the 8k for it, if everybody does this then all our 4runner's valve will go up collectively.

All 3rd gen limiteds have a button on the t-case shifter. For 96 - 98 all the button did was engage 4hi. in 99 they made it so that it engages AWD, and then you take steps beyond that to lock the center diff(move the t-case shifter 99-00, or push the button that used to be the e-locker 01-02).

Nothing wrong with a salvaged title car, But don't buy one unless you plan on driving it until the wheels fall off. Resale value on a salvaged title car is $hit.

Check into full coverage insurance before you buy any salvage title vehicle....if you were planning on getting full coverage.

Its the replacement value where they get you....They will write the policy but only give you about half of what it would normally be worth in the event of a totaled claim...Just saying if you pay the cash and want it covered 100%...

You're making the right move. This is definitely a case (and rightfully so) where the truck is worth a lot more to you than it's worth. For the record, super clean for a salvage title. Good luck bro.

BTW, what bike(s) do you have? I love my 4Runner but I definitely prefer riding on 2 wheels.
