Finally about to do it....maybe

I am finally about to buy my cornfed lift but have a few last questions. I have been out a my 4runner measuring the difference from the top of the inner fender to the tire. The difference between the back and front is 2 3/4 in for each side. I am pretty sure I want to get Jason to make me a 2.5/1.5 custom but now I am considering something more in the front (like 3/1.5). If I stay with the 1" difference in the lift then logic tells me that there will still be a near 2" rake. Is this what everyone has after they lift? I only tow things occasionally and they are never near the 5k weight limit. I think I would rather my 4runner be fairly level rather than look level when I tow. I just want this to turn out well since I will be spending 300 on the lift 400 on wheels and 500 on tires not to mention install. Thanks

I installed a daystar 2.5/1.5 lift and my 4runner appears level. If I would have known that would happen I would have gone 3 in the back. It sometimes even seems like the rear is lower because of the body design.

Personally I would not go anymore than a 2/1 . unless you plan on some 285's . mainly to keep drive angles at a minimum .

Ditto for me. I wish I had gone with a hybrid Daystar 2.5 front and Cornfed 2" rear.

CV joints shouldn't be a problem with the even the 3/2 lift unless your doing some major off road driving.
Really only 3rd gens had that problem on higher lifts.
