Mike, I'll be hitting you up in the Spring, gotta get the rig ready for Moab.
But if you still need a 5th gen for that cb mount, let me know. Wasn't sure if Ammomac wanted to drive all the way from Como, I think I remember you saying you lived pretty close to me.
I've been working on these with a member from the FJ Cruiser forum for the last month or so. He came to me with a design that had been available in Australia, but that company stopped making these.

The new front disconnects for the 4th, and 5th Gen's are now available. These will allow you to disconnect the front of your 4runners WITHOUT causing any damage to your CV's. Pull two pins and you're good to go.
Pictures are from an FJ Cruiser, but the 4runner's are the exact same.

Do you know if these would work for a Lexus GX470 or GX460? A buddy of mine has the GX470 and improvised a quick disconnect but this is much better than what he built.
And what about the 4Runner with KDSS? What is the advantage of a sway bar disconnect if the KDSS is working? Anyone know?
I'm tossing around the idea of starting a Group Buy for these if there's an interest.
So, is there an interest?

I'm in for the Discos front and rear. We need to keep bumping this to generate some interest. Thanks Mike! Oh and Happy New Year!Keep the interest coming. If more people come forward I'll make this happen for you. I'll most likely start another GB for all options (standard & doubles).
Interesting. And may be interested.
Does the sway bar need to be secured (bungee corded) when disconnected?
How much of a PIA are they to reconnect. I have a Jeep friend who has issues getting his reconnected.
