Finally, Got My 2011 Limited Blizzard Pearl 4Runner ($37,461.76)

Well after screwing around with 3 dealerships I finally found a good one.

Dealer offered the 4Runner for $40,500, gave me $15,500 for my Mercedes ($4000 over what I owed), removed processing and destination fee and all that was left to pay for was taxes and temp tags. Brought the total to $37,461.76 total....

Yep........what San~Man said. Sucks too because my last vehicle had this and both my wife and I have VERY different seating adjustments which will be a joy I'm sure when I go to drive somewhere after she's drove last. :bravo:

I tried to get Ourisman Chantilly to play ball on mine, but I ended up driving up to the Carmax Toyota dealership in Laurel. Seems like you got them to cut you a pretty nice deal!

Ya I almost went with CARMAX as well but they were easy to work with and gave me a good price so I went with it. I'll keep my eyes open for ya......:thanks:

I never bought a car out of state before so I'm curious. Is there any extra legal hassles or fees involved besides paying for MD sales tax?

The wife is interested in a BP Limited so we might go shop around for one very soon.

I had bought a vehicle in 2002 over the internet from a GA dealer when I was in TX. Only difference being I paid TT&L when the vehicle arrived in Texas. Otherwise, it was business as usual. I did have to pay a $500 shipping fee to have the vehicle shipped to TX. If ya get the right price though, you're still saving money and getting the best deal.

I think I'll have to do this again as I'm trying to look for a 2011 T4R TE at $250 over invoice that USAA quotes me. But the participating dealers are out of state. I can't get any local MS dealers to agree with the +$250 on invoice.

Had a dealer tell me I won't be able to get a 4Runner in MS at invoice. I told him so what, who says I'm limited by state borders. Some Toyota dealer in the U.S. wants my business, and I'll find them =)

SOOO, YOU GOT THE FIRST 11 LIMTED BP! Mine is in NY port right now. Looks like it's only the 3rd one to hit the US dirt with BP/nav/3rd/tan. There were two before mine that were in port when I ordered, but both were spoken for (priority1).

I ordered:
'11 BP/SB Ltd.
Nav/BT
3rd row
running boards (I can always take them off if they are meh)
roof rack
mats
skid plates
remote start..

Going to miss my old girl though It's ok, I'm giving her to my mom, she needs a better car (and I'll always have first crack at getting it back ;})

No problems at all. As a matter of fact, because I'm military I was exempt from FL taxes since that's where wanted to title and register it (even though I bought it in VA).
