Finally joined the club

Friday I picked up my brand new TE. I got it in silver with KDSS and NAV without running boards.

I quickly tossed some Husky Liners in it and have plans to get some silders but I'm not yet sure what I'm getting.

My hopes and dreams for lifting it were crushed when I pulled into the parking garage at work this morning and scraped the antenna on the entrance sign. It's says clearance is 6'8" but I've got maybe an inch of room between the top of the roof rack and the bottom of the sign/all of the concrete beams

Anyway I look forward to getting out on some trails this summer. Pretty pumped there's enough room to toss my mountain bike in the back as well, I was always afraid the trunk rack on my old car would let me down.

The antenna scrape was a good warning to keep from hitting the rack. I had a close call and was saved by the funky long antenna too. The stubby replacements look better but I'm keeping my early warning system.

I think all T4s look good, congrats and enjoy. If you don't really need sliders, steps look good on a T4R too.

The antenna was one of the first things I swapped out on the truck. I got a stubby metal antenna that looks like a bullet. I thought I had a photo of it on my phone but I can't find it. Supposedly reception sucks on it, but I don't care since fm radio sucks in Atlanta anyways. I always listen to either XM or my iPhone.

You can see the stubby antenna in this pic. Nothing super cool or anything, but I disliked the longer antenna.

FYI, I'm lifted with 285s and a GOBI and I fit in 6'8" clearance.

I don't think the clearance is actually 6'8". I'm going to measure it but if it is correct and my truck fits, then my bank account is going to hate me.
