Finally put AURA grille and eye lids on

Thought I was getting rid of the runner and was offering these parts for sale awhile back, decided to keep her. So I had them painted and I installed them the other day...

I need to post some better pics but these will work for now... Got a quick car wash and snapped a few...

I do see what you mean when I Google search Subaru f..

The dark knight of Kazakhstan thread sent me into this spiral of cosmetic upgrades.... when the woman wrecked the front of the runner I figured why not use insurance money to make my runner look like a Subaru lol

Reminds me of an X Runner Tacoma... you should lower it and rebadge it x runner ;)

Funny you say that I was going to lower it, but I couldn't find any plug and play springs etc.... I don't off road mich if at all, maybe pop a curb or 2... I would still consider lowering it but I really don't won't to loose curb jumping capability... I've always wanted my cake and eat it too! So I doubt they make a lowering kit that will meet my demands....

Vanity plate would be awesome Xrunner 7 letters! I think Xrunner works better on a lowered unit for sure... I already have a vanity plate on my hot rod 250 a year kind of a rip.... I'm hoping to auction it some day THE512 atx zip code... figured maybe some knuckle head will want it and go race the405 (street outlawz tv show)

Burtman industries Google that and look up parts by application.

I might change the screen it comes with to something that might match the hood scoop screen eventually and the bumper insert to a matching screen too

Very expensive part but it does fit very well and has good solid mounting points, it does have to be painted ... it's made of fiber glass

where can i find these or what is the brand of these? old thread i know but i’ve been looking for eyelids and these have to be my favorite.

Unfortunately [MENTION=674429]christiantk_t4r[/MENTION] the person you quoted hasn't been on the forum since about one month after posting that post. you quoted...so you will most likely never get a response from him.
 
he needs to go to JAOS to find someone to import them. its going to cost more than a pair of new headlights, i dont think they are even painted.


check out JAOS , might need to do the japanese to english translate.

Thats rough. Hopefully somebody else knows where to find these and gets back to me about it...

I'll check it out, thanks. I think if worst comes to worst I'll just find a vinyl color as similar to my paint and custom make a pair of eyelids I guess.
 
Does anybody know if 06-09 eyelids will work on an 04 because I know that the shape of the bottom of the headlight is different but I'm not sure about the top if it is geometrically the same.
