After what seemed like an endless search, I finally found myself a clean/unmolested 2000 SR5 4x4 4Runner w/ 172K miles on the odometer. Carfax confirmed the owners story of a minor fender bender resulting in front bumper replacement, other than a few minor door dings everything else was surprisingly clean given the age of the rig. I've already ordered a B&M transmission cooler, OEM plug wire set, OEM plugs, and OEM air filter. Timing belt is in the very near future, any Houston area shops you can recommend if I don't feel like doing the work myself? I'm currently researching the Scangauge II to allow me to monitor operational conditions. Long term plans are 3" suspension lift, wheels/tires, and a full length low profile roof rack.
