Hey everyone and Happy New Year to you all!
Sorry it has been a while but I have been really busy with work. Wife got ill and she spent most of the recent holidays in the hospital. She's better now. I changed jobs, but I got promoted this last year and now I supervise a few people.
Well between work and going back to college full time, it has left me little time to work on my T4R. Now that things have slowed down a bit, I am starting to get back into modding my 97.
The latest is: taking off those running boards.

I will post more work I am doing to it very soon. Had a broken liftgate lock (thanks to a dumb coworker breaking it), so I will post a how-to later today with photos I took and a step by step.
In addition, Monday I am signing up at a local community college to take Auto Technician courses so I can learn to do all the work myself. I am pretty handy and between the forums and YouTube I can find almost anything. But since it's cheap and I will have two free nights a week, I thought: why not.
If anyone is interested in the running boards (all hardware included), PM me or I am going to sell them on Craigslist. I'm located in NorCal.
