Finally very close to pulling the trigger...price check thoughts.

After thoroughly weighing our options and test driving everything from Pathfinders, Armadas, 4runners, and even a Touareg, we've settled on a limited 4runner (wife has loved them since the 5th gens came out). She wants a Blizzard Pearl limited. We got a dealer (not local) to $39,700 + TTL for a 12 Limited Blizzard Pearl/Nav/Entune/Auto Running Boards, etc., etc plus 1.9% for 60 months and they're going to deliver it to our house and to finalize the deal. Thoughts?

Buy it and enjoy. Specific pricing is individualized, meaning what you are happy with others would not and vice versa. And if you really, really like it then price is not important at all. Good luck!

However if that is for a 4WD LE seems a good price to me and the financing is great. I paid about the same for a 4WD LE in Shoreline Blue

Check with consumer reports or kelly blue book on the invoice pricing. I wouldn't pay a dime over the invoice price! We got our '11 TE at invoice price plus TTL. The dealerships will always make money even if they sell it at invoice price because they get kickbacks from Toyota, and when you finance through them their making even more money from you. I won't even throw out the trade in price if you end up trading something in. Dealerships make huge profits off of used vehicles! I had a family member who used to work at a dealership, and all of the big paychecks he earned, was from used car deals. Play hard ball with them, Limited 4R's are everywhere, so a short drive to another dealership might pay off. Just my 2 cents.

if it's 4WD then that's about what I paid+u get auto running boards. Just be careful on the TTL---+other fees portion; they like to stick extra crap on there.

I have the exact vehicle - have had it for 2 months and love it! I paid $38,400 for mine - see below for options. The Blizzard Pearl is a great color, shows hardly no dirt, and I love the tan leather interior. The Nav and sound are nice too. That is a GREAT rate for 60 months...I'd jump on it. Enjoy!

Yeah, I thought I had a reasonably good deal on mine. The OP totally blew that fantasy out of the water. Mine (a Limited 4x4 with auto-running boards and crossbars) was $41.4K + TT&L.

Great deal, I got mine for $39,000 + TTL for my 2012 LE with 1.99% for 60, but mine does not have the running boards.
