Well i decided to start my own thread since im starting to actually make some progress.
I got it with 155k miles and a rod knock. It was one of the cleanest 4runners i looked at and took it home.

Here is when i first bought it completely stock with 31s.

Put in my cd player and subwoofer in

Took off the running boards and stupid chrome trim.

Bought some wheels on craigslist for $25 bucks. They are from a chevy but i think they are going to look good. They are 16 inch and look like perfect fit with 33s.

Test fit before i paint to make sure they clear the front hubs

I cant decide to repaint white or black what do you guys think?

Im loving the look doesnt rub at all. But tires dont have much life left .

everyone does black. do a different color. not say to use the color i used but maybe a silver.

Everyone does black or gun metal because it looks good. I say gun metal with yours.

The white ones look like the rims on my boat trailer... and with having a green 4runner you cant really do bronze or anything so I'd go black or gunmetal like FOG said .

I was actually wanting to do that this weekend but now my weekend project is the wheels. Im going to be painting the chrome asap.

Im still trying to look into if the 2007 landcruiser rear coils are going to work. Im hoping that will raise my back end a inch or two

Have you looked in to the OME kit? If all you are looking for is 2", the OME kit is the best bang for a budget.

Yep, I went with a 4'' kit and its more than I need. The 2inch is very economical but gives you the clearance you need to run the bigger tires and whatnot.

I was planning on ordering the 2 inch rear coils and shocks but after finding these coils for free i would love to have them work and put that $250 dollars into something else.

i also havent noticed a power difference at all still goes 60 on freeway just fine. My speedometer is 3mph off now 48mph when i had cruise set at 45. figured this out by using android app which is dead accurate when going constant speed.

Well alittle update. Went out shooting today and that did a number on my motor. Its knocking like a mofo. So motor swap is coming up soon. Will be putting in another v6.

Its been knocking for 9 months. But I bought another running v6 already.
