Man you have the exact one I have haha. I also had to put an engine in it. Love the TRD sticker... not sure if I wanna do it now because it will just make ours look closer. Just don't paint your replacement engine red.

So are you swapping engines then? if so, have fun. I guess it isn't that bad.

Yeah looks like I will be doing it this weekend my wifes dad will be helping me. Sucks I just bought new gun so horrible time money wise.

I made some progress this weekend on truck. Blew 3 pistons.

Motor out.

I have all the new parts on the new motor and got it mated to the trans. Just got to get motot mount bolts in and start putting all the stuff back on.

So far after putting all the new parts in im only $400 in on the motor.

How many miles were on the dead motor before it kicked the bucket?

I guess no-one wanted to change the oil in it or they over-heated it to hell like temperatures. LOL

From what I can tell the previous owner took really good care of it. Everything was les schwab or oem and he even had the paper work from when he bought it brand new. The guy I bought it from got it from original owner with the rod knock and it sat for a year then he sold it to me.

The way I fixed it though was just a temporary fix and I was hoping to do 3.4 swap but dont have the funds

Almost got the new motor on!

I checked the mail today and saw my christmas present from the wife.

Have had these sitting waiting for shocks.

So I think new ome shocks and a rear panhard drop is all I'm going to need.

Ya im excited to see it lifted also. Just need some warm weather and motivation.

Its coming alittle slow. Just waiting till weather warms up so i can install lift.

This is the last thing i installed.

Got these today for $60. Going to pull them apart and re grease and get new seals. Hoping this helps with mpg a little.

everyone does black. do a different color. not say to use the color i used but maybe a silver.

I thought the original white looked awesome with the green. Re-paint them in a super-white maybe.

I would have ran the white if it wasn't so off from the factory cream white
