Went wheeling yesterday, but ended up getting lost amid a bunch of mining trails that dead-end instead of finding the actual trail. Oh well, still a fun day.

Looks like you were on your way to Spring Creek. It's easy to miss the turn off, if you continue up hill past that first obstacle you will hit a wide, long straight away with a bunch of loose rocks and multiple lines. Right after that the trail narrows a little, and the turn off for Spring Creek is on the right. It's right across from a small camping spot. Let me know the next time you run it and maybe I'll tag along.

Looks like you were on your way to Spring Creek. It's easy to miss the turn off, if you continue up hill past that first obstacle you will hit a wide, long straight away with a bunch of loose rocks and multiple lines. Yeah that was supposed to be Spring Creek. Thanks for the directions! I'll be sure to PM you if we plan a run down that way. I'd love to watch your truck crush that first obstacle.

Ran Kelly Flats yesterday with [MENTION=82211]TCMach[/MENTION] and [MENTION=94888]EatonKyleH[/MENTION].

It rained a bit which made things interesting, I was fairly close to flopping about 30 seconds into the trail, no pictures of that unfortunately. When the rocks were dry we were able to do some fun lines.

First time seeing this thread. Great pics, and that's a nice truck you got there I like the one-tire-fire picture above. Time for some lockers!

And you're right on about the approach/departure angles on Hell's Revenge. I remember my poor FJ60 was dragging it's butt the whole way through that trail.

Thanks for checking the thread out! A rear locker is on the list, once funds allow I'll have one. But I'm also not sure if I want to do bumpers before a locker.

Great build and I also love seeing your photos. Colorado looks gorgeous.

I vote locker first, but that's just me. I had my E-locker long before bumpers and it definitely brought the capability of my rig up dramatically. Bumpers probably wont get you further down the trail, and if your know they are coming eventually, the odd scrape/dent on the factory bumper isnt so bad! lol :guitar3:

Thanks dude! I think those Canadian Rockies give the Colorado Rockies a run for their money.

Good point on the bumpers vs. locker. There are times when a locker would come in handy to be easier on the truck. And doing front and rear bumpers would be considerably more expensive, unless I get an ARB locker. Those things are pricey.

Part of the issue with doing a locker is trying to decide if I should stick with the stock gears and do an e-locker. I don't think I would re-gear unless I go to 35s someday. So maybe I just toss an autolocker in to really keep the cost down for now. I guess I need to figure out what my long term plans are with this truck and plan accordingly.

Not a crazy update, but an update nonetheless. Picked up some Hella 700ff driving lights from [MENTION=82211]TCMach[/MENTION]. Mounted them up on the CBI ditch light brackets. Install was painless and the mounts clear the hood with no issues.

A Moab trip is happening in March ( [MENTION=82211]TCMach[/MENTION] [MENTION=99691]Jorgan[/MENTION] [MENTION=94888]EatonKyleH[/MENTION] ?) , so I need to get a few things done in the next few months. Before that trip I want the truck to have:

Cargo drawer set-up
7th Injector Kit and 2.2" pulley (this has been sitting around for far too long)
Sliders
Skids

Kind of a pricey list (7th injector is already paid for), but money spendin' is good!

I hope everything pans out for all of us, its been too long since ive been to Moab. And to get to wheel out there for a solid week or so would be incredible.

Can I invite myself on this Moab trip? I'd enjoy seeing it at a different time of year, and I'd prefer to do a trip with a smaller group of 4Runner guys than the gigantic cluster that is the TW meet. Also, it should be easy for me to get time off in March.
