Fixing the driver side lean..

Icon stage 2, 285/70/17 tires. Now that I have had the lift installed for about 6 months I'd like to address my driverside lean. I know it's normal, and I know it can be remedied. My plan is to raise the front driverside coilover, and install either a 10 or 15mm rear spacer (shim) by dobinson or OME. Those that have done this, would you reccomended the 10 or 15mm spacer for the driverside rear? Measurements and photos attached.

Bumping this up to the top, also wondering the same thing.

Have a toytec lift with 5100s and adjustable coils. Never really noticed the lean till I installed an arb bumper a few weeks ago and lost about 1/2-3/4’ of life. And now the 1’ driver side lean is really prominent and annoying

Hoping it’s just a few turns with a spanner wrench and a 1/2 spacer in the back. Had different opinions from a couple shops who didn’t really even understand what I wanted...seems pretty dang simple to me. Anyhow don’t wanna resort to a whole new suspension

I have the OME yellow spacer that is 10mm. I think it helped, but with the front coilovers at the same height, the rear is still a little lower. I would go for the 15mm if I were you. You will probably still have to crank the driver side more to keep everything flat.

Thanks for the reply. Went with the 15mm and am going to get it installed next week.
 
I have a 1.5" left rear spacer (38mm) but I would estimate that with front coilovers set the same height that a 20-25mm spacer would be more ideal.

ah shoot. Ordered a 15mm.

Edit: Found a place over in Portland that had a 25mm, ordered that. Would rather only have to do this once.

So with the spacer in the back do you crank the front coilover up the same? So if I get the 25mm crank the front driver coil 25mm as well

I plan on installing the spacer and then evening it out. I am not sure if it's exact on the measurements. I am close to 1" on the driverside so it's gotta be close to that on the front. Of course, you don't want to crank the Coilover too high.
 
I'd crank your front up first to even things out up there, which will in turn lesson the back side height difference. Then you can find a smaller 1 for back.
You might have to lower the front a little then.

No ride is the same when it comes to how much spacer I need to level.
 
I tried all of these fixes.

Putting a spacer or loading the front unevenly makes for weird driving. Adding a 1.5" spacer works great except the rear wheels now move a different rates over bumps and the axle slants if you jack up the truck.

In my opinion, the real fix is to install the OME899 extra heavy duty springs in the back and be done with it. That is what is installed now on my rig. I actually like how the rear doesn't sag when you load the truck and now the suspension is firm and the truck articulates normally when on the rocks. The spacer made the truck tilt differently from one side to the other and didn't feel quite safe.
 
funny thing - i have the 3" OME lift with medium springs, and my truck has always leaned low on the passenger side - NOT the drivers side!
on install I had them put the spacer in the front left, it made it worse! now that i've got some miles on, it's really noticeable, and when i put a load in the back or the moto carrier on the hitch the rear right definitely sags the most.

i have a 10mm urethane spacer, im thinking of putting that in the right/passenger rear. but i'm also beginning to wonder if i should be looking at adjustable lift kits.

It sounds like you just have defective springs or something is broken. There is no possible way that the truck could lean to the opposite side from all the weight. Both the gas tank and the driver are on the same side, that is the source of the lean. The passenger side has no extra weight at all...so how is it possible that you have "lean" on the weightless side?

What's more strange, the gen5 usually dont have as much a problem like ours.
I have so much spacers on mine, it should be illegal.
