Fixing to put on my body lift...any tips?

I would go with a 2" max, i don't know why you would go with a 3" anything over 2" is going to look goofy, at least do like a 2" suspension then do a 1" body or something like that, if suspension is to expensive right now...STOP and save up for it, a 3" body lift is not worth it at all IMO!

I knew ppl would not like the idea of a 3 inch...I already have a 3 inch suspension lift and I already bought the 3 inch body lift and I'm really looking for height and don't offroad ery much at all and I have done my research so I'm sticking with the 3 inch and I'm gonna end up putting on sliders to cover the frame exposed

if you dont wheel it why would you put sliders on it. Are the parking curbs that tall in MS??? Or is it by sliders are you refering to tube steps?

I installed my 1" Toytec body lift this last week. I just made sure all of the bolts were loose, then used a 2x6 on top of a floor jack and jacked it up on the pinch welds right below the B post. Worked like a charm.
From what I've heard, after 2" body lift, things just become waaaay too complicated. At least from my mechanical scope. Personally I'd rather just save up the $$$ for a bigger suspension lift. But whatever works for you works. Be sure to let us know how it goes.

That still pisses me off, I've never seen anything like that happen. Avdian thinks it's from that front bolt binding which would make sense.

Eh no worries man, I'm gonna fix that this weekend lol- but yea, that's the only thing I can think of too- the other side went on with no issues so I don't know what else it could have been.

Well I'm an idiot and I didn't loosen the steering shaft before I started lifting the drivers side so I busted a hole through my cab and got mad and put it all back together like it was before..I should have just finished putting it on I am still undecided whether or not I want to try again or just sell it but if I get the time and it's not sold I'll give it one more go

Yea it took me till now to realize that's why the body wouldn't lift any further... Oh well I fixed it already now I learned my lesson so I know what NOT to do next time now my only concern is where to lift from now? Maybe the pinch weld?

I took my jack and a few pieces of 4x4's (wood) and lifted right between the rocker panels and the frame rail, right in the middle of the vehicle, between the two doors. There is a body mount right there, but you can go on either side and be alright. (Put the wood on top of the jack and it spreads out the pressure of the jack obviously throughout the body panel).
I just loosened the steering rack, and loosened all the body mount bolts, but left the nuts on a few threads. I started on the passenger or drivers side, slid in the pucks and put the nuts on a few threads, then I moved to the other side slid in the pucks and then torqued everything down in a star pattern.
