FJ Lift?

Hey so we're good friends with the guys at Skyjacker (Lonnie McCurry) down in West Monroe, Louisiana, if y'all have heard of them, and are actually going down to Monroe to see friends soon. We have owned 5 4x4's with Skyjacker lifts on them except the only ones we still have are a JK and Grand Cherokee which you guys probably hate . Skyjacker makes a 3" lift for FJ's and we just refuse to get a lift from another company (don't bother trying to convince me otherwise). What's the chances of the FJ lift fitting on my '13? Is it even possible? Because I really want to be able to clear 285s without rub.

Otherwise I'll just wait or see if they can do something with it while we're in town for 2 weeks/wait until they make one.

If you look at lifts from other companies most of them are listed as fitting both FJCs and 2010+ 4Runners, so it'll probably fit.

I'm a little confused. If you're friends with the guys from Skyjacker, why not ask them for technical advice. I'm sure they can answer your question the best. Better yet, take your truck to them for a test fit then they can list it to sell for the 4r officially.

My dad doesn't want me/him to make a fool of himself by asking something stupid, simple as that.


Seems like we'll end up doing just that though.

I had said in OP we might just end up taking it to them and seeing what they can do with it.

Don't think anyone would be making themselves look like a fool. If the answer was so obvious why wouldn't they list the 4Runner as one of their applications? If anything you may be identifying an oversight on their part. I'm sure they would appreciate that.

They aren't entirely sure but will mess with my car while we're there and will either have to make a new list or update their site if it works.

They would think it'd work though.
