FJ rack on 3rd gen?

Anybody ever try this? I see them all over craigslist for $150 or less, don't think you could buy anything better for that money. There's one for sale near me, maybe I'll go ask if I could set it up there and measure.
Thoughts?

I think you should do it and then post every detail I personally love those racks. There may be a good bit of modification though...seems like the FJ have a more curved roof. Good luck!

You definitely should be the guinea pig! you would save eveyone 100s on full length roof racks.

I have a fj rack in my garage and a 3rd gen in the drive way with no rack. If I find some free time I'll throw it up on top and see what it looks like and post pictures. I would never use the fj rack, it wasn't practical for anything. The whole reason its in the garage and why I bought a Front Runner Rack for the FJ.
