FJ Springs and BFG MT's (Lots of Pics!)

I decided that since I do a lot of random mods to my truck but never seem to put up pics, it is finally time to do so!

This weekend I put in FJ front and rear springs (thanks for the help, Josh!) and 255/75/17 BFG MT KM's. Thank you to mikedege over on the FJ forum for the springs!

I already had a 3/1 Cornfed (which yielded around 2.75" of lift) and spidertrax.

The FJ yielded me around .75" more lift in the front and around .5"-.75" of lift in the rear.

Also here are some pics of my CB setup

A Cobra 75WX ST. The antenna I use is a Wilson 5000 with a Short Load Antenna.

And my off road setup in the back

A floor jack, two large pieces of wood to help it spread its weight off road/stick under my tires if I get stuck, a good air compressor (MV60), pretty complete set of tools/ratchets etc..., backpack full of nothing but bottles of water (just in case), backpack with a fairly completely first aid kit/food/more water/flashlights/knives/lighters/blankets/handheld CB radio/sunscreen/a hatchet/and various supplies to help with an extended period in a remote area(just in case), large silver case with other repair supplies/flares/radios, 2- 20 ft tow straps, 2- D ring shackles, about 3 pairs of gloves, and many other random things through the car

Its from Defiant, www.defianttruckproducts.com. Its really well made, is all bolt on and requires ZERO cutting.

How do the FJ springs feel?

I actually think that the FJ springs ride better than the stock 4runner springs ride, but maybe that is my mind tricking me into me liking my current setup.

All and all I am very happy with the springs, and considering they didn't cost me a penny, it is hard to beat!

These are the KM, not KM2. I believe they are slightly different than the standard KM as they are designed for the Rubicon.

These were take off's from a Rubi that I found on a forum and I got all 5 for $450, 4 had 1200 miles and 1 had zero miles.

I payed slightly less, but that was because I provided the vehicle for all the measurements/fitting (its my truck on the website) and I had to make the trip to the shop multiple times. $260 is actually not too bad for a lightbar, especially when they are this well made.

Thanks Chris, you were the guy who made me decide on trying the FJ springs!

Josh and I are going to Big Bear this weekend and there should still be some serious snow, we might get to see who tows who out.
