Wait it out. Sometimes if you log in to PayPal it'll show tracking info there. I'd go to the UPS site (or whatever carrier he used) and calculate time in transit. You can real easily see how long it should take. I'd wait that long, plus a few days, and if no luck I'd think about filing a claim with PayPal. Waiting an extra week may be hard for you, but you will be just as likely to get your money back then as you would be if you file now (and may jump the gun). Hope it works out!

I found a set on Craigslist. The guy claimed they were from a 07 FJ 4x4 and included factory Bilsteins for $150 shipped. I ordered them, and paid, last friday. Its now thursday of the next week and I havent received even a shipping tracking number. I e-mailed the guy yesterday and he said "They were sent on Monday, let me get you the tracking number". One day later, still havent heard from him.

I find it odd that he cant provide shipping information since I myself just shipped a product via UPS and they gave me the tracking info on the spot.

What do you think I should do? I paid via paypal.

If people are really paying over $100 for used FJ springs, why not just buy new. Rock Auto has the 4WD springs for $52 and $62 a set and then you know what you're getting and they are brand spanking new. Unless someone can talk me out of it, that's what i will pair with 5100s when I do my swaperoo...

Rock Auto has the 4WD springs for $52 and $62 a set and then you know what you're getting and they are brand spanking new. Unless someone can talk me out of it, that's what i will pair with 5100s when I do my swaperoo...

I just checked that site and they don't have FJC springs on there. They show Raybestos and MOOG coils for our runners but that's it. The FJC coils are a great upgrade over stock runner coils because they provide a slight lift, reduce body roll and nose dive under breaking, and are OEM Toyota products. All while not compromising on ride quality. IMO, its one of the best and cheapest upgrades you could make.

Edit: I checked for my year runner (2005) but did just look for 2009 FJC coils and found them. They are still MOOG and Raybestos but are cheap

Yes, they would not be Toyota OEM, but aftermarket, but Moogs are considered a reliable brand and commonly used by Jeep guys etc.. The are a different part number than the ones listed for the 4Runners, so I would think that they would provide the same improvement, but wanted some opinions from other people. Like i said, the price is right.

I think I brought this up before as well, but we never got a good answer...

Can you be our guinea pig? Sounds like you might go this route. In which case, I fully support and cant wait to hear how it goes/etc. You never know, they could be softer/firmer/more lift/less lift than the oem, but I'd like to hear how it goes and your detailed opinion on how it rides after you do it! (So many times I see people say: rides great, much better than stock'' but give no indication as to why/how...)

Sound like a plan? Lol

The 2010 FJC springs will work perfectly! I just installed a set in my '06 Runner.

I have not confirmed this, but it's the lower shock eyelet on the 2010 FJ stuff that needs to be modified.

One comment on the other aftermarket springs: Will they support the 4Runner as well as the FJ springs do or will they support them similar to stock 4R springs? You want the extra beef of the FJ springs; not simply a set similar to the 4R springs.

Yeah... it's the lower shock mounting point, but I can't say for sure which require modification. I used 2010 coils with my stock XREAS shocks and still have the 2010 FJ shocks sitting in boxes. You should check the chart on the FJ swap "sticky" in the Suspension section to see who used 2010 shocks... I remember there being a couple of guys.

You are a generous fellow to offer me up at the suspension alter! Well If I go this route I will certainly try to document my results and qualitative experiences. It will be difficult to gauge for me because I have never ridden in a 5100/FJ Runner before and I am coming from a tired (120k) XREAS setup now. Nevertheless maybe someone out there in the community could shed light on the difference between the OEM and Moog FJ springs...

LIFT so I got a pair of fj spring and plan on buying wheel spacers.1.25 or 1.5 Unsure if everythings going to work. Ohh btw I have stock fj wheels with 265/70/17 tires, I'm expecting a little rub, but what else (problems) should I expect..
Im I the only one with this much lift. and a big thanks to ARK

Won't spidertrax be a little much with FJ wheels that already provide some extra spacing?

Add me to the list of folks wanting for someone to try New Moog/Aftermarket FJ springs to see if you get the same benefits as buying used FJ springs. Hope that makes sense. I may try some type of FJ spring (new/used) with 5100 shocks.
