Hey guys I found this idea on the forum and decided to try it out and it came out nice. I found a nice flashlight with a built in tripod for 15 bucks at Walmart and used the mag light d brackets from Ace Hardware for 6 bucks. Very snug and doesn't move a lick. Tell me what you guys think. Any questions feel free to ask

Seems pretty neat. although I cant really tell where it's mounted form the picture.

Looks like it is mounted on the roof above the seat belt adjuster.

Interesting spot. Not sure it's one I'd pick being so close to the 'ol noggin. Looks clean though!

i did not have a so called "oh sh*t" handle so i just used the holes and mounted it there. :thumb3:

nice though but not worth the effort since you still have to keep an eye whether the battery is charged. i'd rather use a flashlight that gets connected to your car. using this one, you don't have to worry about charging it or replacing the battery. just plug and light. :) i believe the purpose of that flashlight is when you need to fix your car or replace a tire in the middle of the night.

I was gonna do the same thing until a friend informed me that on really bumpy roads or in and accident they can fly off and hit you in the head, or if your air bag diploys it could kill you.
