Flat + jacked up mirror = not so fun weekend

1. Bridgestone OEM = weak sauce. After seeing what caused the flat (see picture), I have zero confidence in the OEM tires. The 1/2" piece of granite punctured the tire through the tread (not between); I have never taking the rig offroad. The granite was from road construction in front of my house. I have 25K miles and the tires are near the first wear bar. Next set of tires = A/T's.

2. As I was backing out of the garage, I tagged the edge of the passenger side mirror and chipped the mirror turn signal. Does anyone know the part number to the lens or do I have to buy the entire assembly. I found a site that sell the assembly for $129. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I hope everyone had a better weekend that I did (failed to mention the parking ticket that was issued on a street with no warning!).

Not sure if you can buy just the lens but here are the parts for $86 + shipping. Better than $129 I guess.

That's pretty cheap for an entire assembly. I wonder if they come pre-painted (I'm leaning toward not).

I think that's for just the turn signal light assembly.

Sorry to hear that....

When my 3rd gen was only a few months old, I backed out of my garage and smacked the pass mirror as well, broke the cover, ordered a new one from Toyota, I think I paid 185 or so for it, and it did come painted, and that was for a 97....
