That rack is awesome. Is it a kit you buy or did you do the measurements and what not and get the aluminum cut?

My buddy Will and I built them from scratch using 10/80, Angle Iron and some sheet metal.

Had an amazing trip up to Buena Vista and into Crested Butte, we ran Hancock Pass, Tincup Pass ( Took the challenging Old Tincup Pass Route) then through Taylor park and into Crested Butte where we then headed for Devils Punchbowl. Sadly early on into the trail the Ford Bronco with us had the transfer case seize up. We then made it a recovery day pulling the driveshafts and towed the Bronco behind my 4Runner 26 Miles to a local shop. Then to head home we went through Cement Creek Road and Lower Reno Divide and Reno Creek and back over Cottonwood Pass. Awesome time with [MENTION=144428]RockyMtnPhoto[/MENTION]graphy

So far I absalutly love the RTT, and I am working out the kinks in the new rack. All in all very happy with the new additions and excited to put it all through some more testing at the Addicted Offroad Toyota Jamboree!

Finally took the time to Prep and repaint my rear axle housing, links and mounts. Looks a lot better!

On my long drive today I was thinking about your roof rack, how did you cut the side pieces and the fairing and what are they made out of?

Just collecting information because if I ever have anther truck and want a roof rack I'll probably build my own since Gobi is the only one in the game now and I don't have that kind of cash...

I also need to get some paint on my Panhard. My spare was rubbing it apparently when flexing while I had it shoved up under there. That won't be a problem now though with my new bumper!

It's Angle Iron for the length pieces, all the cross bars are 80/20 and the fairing is cut out of 1/8 inch aluminium as well as the thick side pieces that follow the roof line. Then everything is bolted together with Grade 5 hardware!

Gotcha. I need to convince my dad to make one for his Tacoma with his camper shell haha. I love the Prinsu racks on the second gen tacomas with campers. Beautiful. You did a great job recreating it.

For those you have already seen and for those you havnt. Broke another shock. This time an extremely expensive high quality fox shock. It baffles me they would make such an important piece of hardware out of magnesium.... Disappointed for sure, hopefully they step up and warranty this.

Maybe another three miles up the trail in the boulder section of Redcone I bent a rear link.. Now to get it all repaired in the next 3 days and get ready for the Toyota Jamboree![emoji1591]

Good News!
Fox customer service pulled through after numerous people told me they would just tell me off, getting the stud replaced under warranty,
just have to pay shipping which isn't preferred but I will not complain! Bad News is I have to run a Franken Suspension for the Toyota Jambo and hope to not run into the problems I had at Rock Therapy...
