I put them at F if I remember correctly, the setting that pushes the tire forward the most. Alignment went well also. Had to do some jank shit to get it to have the wheel straight, offsetting the tie-rods slightly to keep toe in the green but have the wheel straight. We are suspect that something in my rack is wrong which sucks.. but I guess what ever it is ill find out as it gets worse. Each test drive the alignment specs would change slightly even though every thing was torqued past spec and didn't budge.

Pretty nice having full travel out of the kings also. Did a little mobbing around some big dips and speed bumps and It's a whole different animal now.

Has the steering wheel been removed previously? It could be off by one spline...

It has, but long ago for the steering tack mod and when I put it back in the wheel was still straight...

I picked up a Haws Fairlead too but I'm waiting to put that on till the bumper is off because I have to unbolt the winch etc...

Synthetic and a new winch will happen down the road, that another reason I'm waiting on the fairlead so I dont ruin it with the steel.

Also went wheeling this last weekend on a trail called Miller Rock. I don't have many pics of my own rig but got some good ones of the others. Some difficult sections and very tight, off-camber trail the entire time. Very glad I didn't have my tent on. There will be a video coming eventually being put together by Will.

Some dudes in a buggy on 48's that saw us a couple times on the trail probably felt a little unsettled that this stock jeep beside a front auto locker made this trail look easy. Sorry bout your neck

So something interesting today...
As some may know, I have been struggling with a lack of power issue for quite some time, maybe 4 months now. Just sluggish, barely hold 70 on the highway and low end just feels gutless. Didn't use to be like that but it came on slow. I've been really weirded out by it and just blame it on extra weight and heavy/bigger tires etc. while I read up on it.
Initially, I thought my flex plate would have had something to do with it but the only change was no ticking noise. Dif and tranny flushes allowed the truck to feel much smoother, start and stop and throughout all the gears. Mainly neutral into drive or reverse. but my power has always been on the low side.
Yesterday I was scouring amazon as per usual and saw an OEM PCV for like $10 so I just threw it in my cart and ordered it along with a new seal. Cost basically nothing and only bought it because I had been running a auto parts store brand PCV for about 6 months now. Well showed up today ( I love Amazon) and I threw it in thinking nothing of it other than seeing some oil had been passing through the old one (don't think it should do that...) but took it for a rip up to Horsetooth to go for a bike ride and it felt way happier, basically anything required less throttle and just didn't feel so sluggish. May just be a placebo but hey who knows. I'll know for sure next time I'm on I-25.

As some may know, I have been struggling with a lack of power issue for quite some time, maybe 4 months now. Just sluggish, barely hold 70 on the highway and low end just feels gutless. Didn't use to be like that but it came on slow. I've been really weirded out by it and just blame it on extra weight and heavy/bigger tires etc. while I read up on it.
Initially, I thought my flex plate would have had something to do with it but the only change was no ticking noise. Dif and tranny flushes allowed the truck to feel much smoother, start and stop and throughout all the gears. Mainly neutral into drive or reverse. but my power has always been on the low side.
Yesterday I was scouring amazon as per usual and saw an OEM PCV for like $10 so I just threw it in my cart and ordered it along with a new seal. Cost basically nothing and only bought it because I had been running a auto parts store brand PCV for about 6 months now. Well showed up today ( I love Amazon) and I threw it in thinking nothing of it other than seeing some oil had been passing through the old one (don't think it should do that...) but took it for a rip up to Horsetooth to go for a bike ride and it felt way happier, basically anything required less throttle and just didn't feel so sluggish. May just be a placebo but hey who knows. I'll know for sure next time I'm on I-25.

Gonna be testing out our new half rack for a little while. So weird seeing the truck with out a full length rack. I don't know how I feel about it haha.

Another PCV Valve Seal in the manifold... YEE.
Removed my old brittle pcv seal and put in a OEM one. Dropped it in and fished it out. Did not feel like pulling everything so I spent maybe 20 minutes with needle nose and a flat head and got everything out. New one in. Nice
35's soon..... I'm just waiting on UPS and whenever I have time to mount them when they show up. I'm doing the idea that I'll just make them fit once they are mounted, no going back. Force my self to do it.

Gonna start making a little checklist to reference for getting the truck ready for a pretty hefty trip in July. Driving to Canada and back with a lot of detours along the way. More information about the trip will be added here as we continue to plan and prep for the journey. Going to be another whole series for Broco Adventure Media, going to be a lot more professional this time around. Really excited about it.
Must Do's
- Replace CV Axles (Have a set, just need to install them)
- Replace rear shocks (Left rear has a large leak)
- Check/Replace Timing Belt and Water Pump
- Fluid Flush - Coolant, Rear Diff, Front Diff, Blinker Fluid
- Replace Boots/Seals on steering Rack/New Rack (Slow Leak, Still works fine)
- Clearance for 35's
Wants
- 4.88 Gears (Yukon Gear and Axle)
- Rebuild Swing Out (Move tire up, add RotoPax, move Hilift Jack)
- Properly wire all accessories (Piece of mind)
- Upgrade Winch
- Flares/Trim Fenders Higher.... IDK
Other Expensive Shit I want
- Sigma 18-35 f1.4 art lens
- Sigma 70-200 F2.8
It's a hefty list cost wise and time wise, but I'm sure a lot of this won't get done besides the maintenance aspects. Just hopeful things and stuff for me to motivate myself to work my ass off these next couple months.
