CV Axles, Front Axle Seals, Diff Drop.
Well after my old CV's only lasting me a month it was time to swap in some NAPA lifetime ones and install the diff drop I have had for almost 4 years now. I also decided to fix my leaky diff and replace both axle seals on the front.
This job was reallly easy, just got rained out once or twice and stretched it out over two days.

New seal in on passenger side.
This on is trickey because you have to set it at a certain depth, 5.5mm I believe but I just flushed it with the lip inside the diff just like the old one was. Should Also this is what is behind that seal.

Buttoned everything up, filled the diff, put my skid on finally. Hopefully no leaks and hoepfully these CV's last me more than a month. Really easy job and stretched out over two days it wa a cake walk. Also crow bar pops the seals out really easy, if its stubborn a few taps on the crow bar pops it right out. Just be careful you don't score the seal surface in the diff. Crowbar pops the CV's right out too!

I've been hit with the case of the t4r lazyies lately. Haven't been staying up past my bed time to post updates.
To start Ill post some life updates. I've worked at a Toyota dealership since I moved up to Foco but yesterday was my last day. It was a factor of many things that I won't get into here but I left on a good note and will no longer have free car washes and discounted parts
On the bright side this means that Rocky Mtn Racks is now my fulltime job outside of being a fulltime student. We are soon going to be moving into a shop space up in Fort Collins. No more building racks out of my garage. It also means a little more time to wrench on the ole girl.
In other news... truck news. I have replaced all tie rod and tie rod components in hopes to fix my front end pop. NO DICE! Got it all buttoned up and it was riding great and quite for 3 days but its back and its just as loud. Not to say that new tie rods did not help anything as it did wonders. Steering is tight and feels awesome. Old ones were toast. But sad i still have an issue that is gonna be around for 3,000 plus miles of canada adventures.

Sarcasm, I see them breaking right at the lower bushing all the time. Sad to see but its a true reality with the new shocks. Loved my old boss and they took a absolute beating from me for about 80k miles. Others don't seem to have the same luck on the new ones and the ultimates.

Well I'm guessing [MENTION=173106]StockyStock[/MENTION] is referring to what happened on my way home from Canada... but first. We need to get to that point.
As many know, myself and many friends do a little Broco Adventure trip. This year was basically a road trip. Not much wheeling, but lots of National Parks, cool views and way too many miles on the highway. The trip started in Fort Collins and we met at about 1 in the afternoon on a Friday and headed north.
We arrived at camp above the Tetons at about 11pm and woke up at about 6 to watch the sunrise.

I was terrible about taking camp photos this trip but we have video... so you have that to look foward to.

The next day was mellow. We started off heading back towards Yellowstone from our camp.

When were y'all out in Wyoming? I was in that area 4 weeks ago. I "did" the Morrison Jeep Trail lolol. Drove the bottom part and then drove the top part with the Chief Joseph Hwy in-between :lol: We were solo though... I'll get to it some day.
