Not a major scratch but enough to piss you off. I'd just signed for the 4R 2 hours prior. My wife and I are going out for dinner...less than 20 miles on it Well I'd stepped in some dog crap, got into the rig and ground fresh poo into the carpet. New car smell and dog crap don't mix well. While I'm cleaning up the mess, the dog who left the present comes to see what's going on and in the process scratches the door. FML.

Dont place a new Iphone on top of the rear tail light. The most pointeist part of the rear hatch skims by the rear tail light. my phone made up the difference. hatch went half way through the phone and cracked the tail light. had the phone and the car for less than 2 months

this thread is classic.

I had the car for 8 months and was visiting the in-laws. I usually don't park on the driveway... but the one time I did, my mother-in-law has to run an errand and backs out of the garage.

Next thing you know I have a bumper that needs respraying and being the good son I am, I also get to replace her taillight.

To me it is just a mark of character and actually using the car, it is an SUV, not a Ferrari.

It's a new car n to me this is like a Ferrari, I'm payin my hard earned money for this car so I'd like to keep it in prestige shape as long as possible, just the way ove treated all my cars

I had my new TE for less than two months, and had under 2500 Miles on it. I live in a town of less than 3500 people, and someone (with a huge lift on their vehicle) missed my bumper and receiver hitch only to completely sink in my tailgate right below the plate... no information left.... no witnesses.... I have wished some of the worst thoughts on this person... but now that it is fixed, I'll leave it to Karma.... YOU HEAR ME KARMA!!!!! GO GET EM!!!!!

The lot guy at my old job wanted to wash my, Well he took a brillo pad to my 2 months old 4R in june. Took off the clear coat on some parts of my hood and front bumper. Also put swirl marks on my windshield so i have trouble seeing thru the windshield with bright on-comming headlights. To top it off, not only he DID NOT apologized, he said its a white color car, and i dont wash it often enough and blames it on me And he didn't do the damage. Sorry for the run-on sentence, kinda brought the anger in me again! Lesson learn: Dont let anyone touch your car!.
