FN fx pro wheel pic thread

i just talked with dustin at fn wheels last weekend. He said shipping to Hawaii is $200, ouch! I may have to bite the bullet, I really don't know.. I think I'm going to call the local Toyota dealership and see how much I can get a set of TRD's. It's a bummer though cause I want them in matte bronze.

Stock SE wheels are 7" wide. These are 8".

And they stick out about 1.25" from OEM TRD wheels, negating the need for spacers.

I looked at fnwheels.com and I don't see these wheels for sale anywhere? Are they discontinued?

I believe you have to call and order them direct. They are fairly new and are selling out just fine so they haven't had to advertise them yet. If I remember correctly it was $699+shipping for a set of 4 with the plain black center caps.

I'd love to see a black or shadow mica 4R with the bronze version. I'm a sucker for black wheels, but the matte bronze seem like they could be an interesting match.

Ya you have to call to order them, but Dustin is great and can hook you up. Took me about a month to get mine. PS: how do you rotate images or adjust the size?

Another happy FN wheels customer. As many have said, Dustin is great to work with. Everything arrived exactly like it was ordered exactly when Dustin said it would. Can't wait to get them on the truck.

(the center cap isn't pushed in all the way in the pic)

Finally got the wheels and my lift on this weekend. Wheels fit GREAT. Nearly flush with the outside of the fender. The only (slight) issue I had was that Discount Tire would not mount the wheels to the truck as they claimed the lug nuts that came with the wheels only went on 6 threads. They have a company policy of 7 1/2 threads. I just took the wheels/tires back home and put them on there. The lugs seem to go on plenty.

If I could change anything, I'd bring the back down 1/2" to 1". It sits a bit higher than the front. But that's not what this thread is about.

A+ for these wheels and Dustin's service!

what color are these?. can you post more picks with better light, please? I'm debating what color to get, and I also have a silver 4R. I'm leaning more towards bronze, but may go gunmetal. I don't like black for this style of wheel. I think there are two gunmetal colors, if Im not mistaken a lighter and a darker.

From the info I saw on these wheels, the gunmetal color is the same. The difference is that one of them has a matte finish and the other is gloss.

These are the MATTE gunmetal, which is the lighter gunmetal. The gloss gunmetal apparently gives a darker look. The matte goes perfect with the silver IMO.

Here are a couple more shots.

Also, has anyone else had any rubbing issues? I'm rubbing the front portion of inner fender liner. Not a big deal as I think I can move it/reshape it/last resort cut it but I'm just curious if others have had it too.

The gunmetal colors and finishes are both different. The matte gunmetal is lighter (similar to the TRD wheel, but a better shade IMHO) and the dark high-gloss gunmetal is darker. The dark high-gloss looked almost black against my black truck. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the two gunmetal colors and the matte black when they were sitting next to my truck. Dustin emailed me a dozen pictures of the three wheels (no bronze). I can upload a couple if it would be helpful.

While these don't help to see how the wheel color looks on a particular truck, the pictures can at least help see the differences in color.

I think I may be ordering a set of these later this year. Still torn on matte black vs. matte bronze. I love the way flat black wheels look, but I have yet to see anyone with bronze, so it could be fun.
