Focal FP 5.500 hiding place

Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can hide this amp?

It measures 2"x11"x19.5"

i would like to take the stock woofer and amp out but I can't seem to get the panel completely off to see if it will fit

search for it, i done it, remove the lower peice behind the seat in the trunk, then u unscrew the sill plte on the floor of the trunk, then u move the carpet aside, and then u see some screws, after u remove the 3 screws u open the lil storage and remove that bolt, then open the rear door and remove tha seatbelt bolt, go back in the trunk and u should see a knob like thing by the panel to remove the stock taillights, take the lil knob off by pullin the tip a lil and then pull the whole thing out. u should now have no screws or bolts holing the panel,, slowly pull the panel and itll come off. i made a rack with mdf and cut it to fit and was able to put my jl audio 500/1 in there.

Off the top of your head do you know how big the 500/1 measures?

What are you pushing with that thing?

the jl audio 500/1 measure is 13.40 in. x 9.25 in. x 2.36 in.
im pushing 2 12w3v2 in ho box

Real nice set-up! i will send you some pics once i get everything finished up. I talked to my installer yesterday and he does not think the amp will fit but i am going to make a valliant effort

it might be possible, just mount it vertical, and put it by the taillight area, i dont know how much deep space is under the floor line, but it might be possible. draw a cardboard cut out with the same dimension, also, u could cut it about 1 1/2 inch to 2 inch bigger as a percaution.
