Fog Light Install

I want to put some fog lights on my 2003 4Runner Sport. I was thinking about installing them like in the picture that someone sent me of their car. The installed lights are Piaa 004X. I was thinking about putting a larger piaa in the same area. Has anyone done this? The guy who sent it to me said that they work fine through the grille and provide good lighting, plus they are only like $70. Just wondering if anyone has done an install like this and if so, how do they work? and if not, why not? Thanks.

I would worry about the heat from the light directly onto a plastic grill...how hot are those lights?

it's a ham radio...2M/70cm frequencies (144MHz/440MHz) and a gps...here are two threads with other info...don't want to hijack this one. :
