Fog Lights Burn Out (audible) When Turned On.

Well, about a month ago I realized my fog lights were burned out on the same day. Being cheap bulbs that were installed on the same day, I thought it may be plausible the were both just burnt out ($3.49 Sylvania's from Autozone).

Anyway, this morning I installed some new cheap bulbs, and as soon as I got them in and turned them on to test, I hear them pop, and no light.

What gives? My fuses are good, and the right size. I have done the mod where you wire them to the tail lights so that they can be on without the headlights, but I did that in January, and the problem is just now arising. Any ideas? I can hear the relay clicking as I turn them on and off, and I get power to the harness at the light.

This is only a guess but I would say check the wiring from the mod you did. Make sure that there isn't an exposed wire somewhere that is shorting out. Or better yet, if it's not too much of a pain in the *ss, undo the mod and see if the problem still exists.

I am an idiot and checked the tail light fuse apparently. It is indeed the 15 fuse for the fog lights popping when I turn them on.

FML I hate electrical.
