Hi. A sunroof on any vehicle eliminates roughly an inch or inch and a half of headroom. For taller drivers this is significant. I am not extremely tall (six feet) but sunroof on two Celicas that I owned was almost a dealbreaker. You do NOT want the top of your head to be close to brushing the headliner all the time. This is one reason I am shopping a 4Runner TRD Pro instead of a lower trim, even though I'm not an off-roader.Inferno and Quicksand are available on the Tacoma but not the 4Runner?Oh and why do so many of you not like having a sunroof?

Will this Carbon Fiber look be standard equipment for just the TRD Off-Road trim or will this be standard for the TRD Pro also?
After coming from a Forester, most any moon/sunroof is going to be a disappointment. A tiny little moonroof and some vinyl seats just didn't seem like it was worth the additional $2000.

If I buy a TRD Pro I am afraid I will get hassled for overpaying for a 4runner.
So you're saying you'd buy a TRD PRO because it has no sunroof? Even if you can get four other trim levels with no sunroof? (2017 models)

It's your life do what you want and don't worry about what other people think or say. I love my Pro and am damn glad I bought it.

Looking at the Toyota website configuration tool, sunroof delete models are not in production yet.
What part of the country are you in? Here we have incoming 2017s with no sunroofs.
Look up the different Toyota distributor regions and use a zip code from one of those to see if you can find what you want :high five:I'm looking for a TRD Offroad Premium (trail premium). The Toyota configuration tool has zero listed for my area near Seattle. The Toyota site also lists sunroof is mandatory with Kdss. I'm not in favor of sunroofs.
