KDSS is not just for street. Also, I'm pretty sure the TRD pro suspension will bolt up to a 4runner with kdss just fine.

Looks like 2017 is going to be a short model year. Got the preliminary launch calendar for this year and it shows September for the 2018 4Runner. It also does not indicate any changes.

No it was January 2017 all along.
Same deal here on '17 TRD Pro.
I was told it could be 6-9 months back when I put deposit down (early December).

Is there anyway to see if a dealer got an allocation or see if they even put in an order? I put a deposit down in June and now im getting the run around by the dealer (dodging calls/not calling back). I see people who put orders in and already have a VIN, my dealership must be sleeping on the whole thing.
I just snagged a 2016 Trail Premium in Indianapolis while visiting from Virginia for the holiday. More for my trade, $2500 or so off MSRP ... and had KDSS, all weather mats, cross bars, exhaust tip, hitch, and remote start. Red, not my first choice but I couldn't find a TEP in VA to save my life and feel fortunate. Love the truck so far.

Get a TEP with KDSS and swap in Springs and shocks ... still probably cheaper than a TRD Pro.

I would just like to thank PearlT4R for helping me out this evening. Found me a dealership a few hours away in Boston with a TRDP coming in at the beginning of February. Coincidently it had the same accessories I had originally ordered through another dealership and at msrp

Shipped to the dealer on the 15th and expected between the 13th-19th? Maybe I misread that either way I hope my TRD Pro arrives around that timeframe. The dealer told me it was 3 weeks away a week ago.
i'm on the same boat as you. placed a deposit a month after you did. getting the same run around as you too. after i emailed the operations manager about the situation, he assigned me to another salesperson because the salesperson that was originally assigned to my sale wasn't communicating or keeping me updated or as you put it, 'sleeping on the whole thing.' and i agree with you, there's plenty of people that have movement with their allocations, i have that same frustration and getting impatient.
there IS a way to see if an allocation was accepted, but not sure about the specifics. as far as i know, there's no such thing as an 'order.' the dealer places a request for specific model/color and regional can either honor or deny, or send something similar. dealers can also trade with one another before it hits the sales lot. maybe someone on the forums that works at a dealership can help you out.

Those are still just estimates.
Shipped to dealer is when the big rig is supposed to leave the final train yard, Typically comes in to the dealer 1-2 days after that.
So technically the expected arrival day should be the 16th-19th but I guess they're optimistic lol.

Using my car as an example? I've been the one posting these screenshot updates. I've also been helping others here find their Pro when their dealers fail.

sorry for using your screen shot. i didn't realize it was yours. probably better if i had blurred out the VIN. i had took snapshots of people's allocation to use it at the dealer i'm purchasing from as an example of how speedy others have gotten their vehicles... but no dice for me...
