Need to take some better pictures, but here is Sadie, my awesome 3 year old mutt. She's a 35lb. mix of lab, jack russell, & chihuahua. (Not intentional mix!) Looks like a lab puppy.

I have 2 German Shorthaired Pointers, super active (though if you catch them in the mornings as lazy bumps you'd never know), and very smart. Spent a lot of time training them and they've both become great companions. We keep ours in crates in the back of the 4R for a several of reasons: 1.) the older one had separation anxiety and figured out how to tear down the tensioned dog barrier in the back and get to other stuff in the vehicle. 2.) with two of them they don't fit comfortably in the back, they're close (half siblings) but not that snuggly close). And 3.) the crates not only give them a secure personal space (they sleep as soon as they get in because they're usually going some place fun) but they are also safer and don't become projectiles in the event of an accident (god forbid).

This is Scott, our 8 month old Great Dane. One picture was from yesterday and the other was when he was 8 weeks old.
I figured that this was a fitting place for my first post as the dog is largely the reason for the 4Runner purchase-I just couldn't squish him into my sedan anymore. After a long search, I finally found a 2010 Limited DVD entertainment and 3rd row seating. It took the better part of 2 months and I had to purchase out of state but it was worth the wait - This truck is in mint condition. Perfectly preserved for the thrashing that it will get at the hands of a great dane and 3 kids with hockey gear and dirty cleats! I had a BMW 545i which I loved driving but hated fixing - I spent $9,200 in repairs/Maint/tires in 4 years of ownership
The 4Runner is super versatile and the fact that the seats are easily moveable and adjustable has been great. I'm planning on keeping this truck for a LONG time so I'll need to do lots of studying on this forum!

We're a lot like [MENTION=110302]tommyv[/MENTION], we bought the 4R for our pups. The back of our Jeep Cherokee was just too crowded. Turned out to be the best decision we ever made. Both pups love the Runner.
This is Ollie, a one year old greyhound we adopted when he was just four months old.
This is Ashe, our three year old greyhound. We adopted him when he was seven months old.
This is both pups (Ollie in focus) doing what they do best.
I meant to add this one before, but forgot. This is our setup to ensure that we have room for the pups. We pull a Rola Swing Away Hitch Mounted Cargo Box. Probably the best investment we've made besides our 4R.
