Yes they are, this is our second. Worst part as with any extra large breed they don't live that long. 8-10 years average.

No we didn't get him locally, couldn't find any. Got him from a very well reviewed breeder in Missouri. He's been very easy and loves everybody.

This is Roxy, my 200 lb. English Mastiff. She doesn't really go in any vehicle too much unless she has to. (Trips to the vet, groomer, etc.) That's fine with me, since I have to lift her into the truck....she's way too lazy to jump in.

Nothing like a good ole' rescue dog! My black lab, Onyx, was rescued from the pound at 8 weeks. 6-months old and the best shotgun rider I've ever had!

Love that picture! Nothing better then pulling your rig up on the National Seashore and letting the dog run loose! Spent many a Summer doing that as I lived in MD for 30 years.

shes no "lazy"... shes just smart.

like my dog, they remember you lifting them in and are now spoiled.

my black Lab will sit at the tailgate sometimes and wait for help up.... its kinda embarrassing, but i always give in unless i shove a foot into his lazy butt!

i have to admit... id rather lift him in & out then screw up his his joints.
