Hey guys, can anyone tell me if replacement alts come with the tensioner bolt or do you reuse the one that came factory? I ask because I sheared mine off two week ago, bought a universal one that I found did not fit, bought an OEM one but found that the universal had messed up the threads on the block it threads into.
I got some tension on the belt but definitely see that if I ever need to adjust it again I'll need to replace that little block it threads into as well the bolt again, I'm hoping that won't be needed until I replace the alt though (God willing, many years from now) but will do so if I need to on the off chance I need to adjust again.
Again my question is, do replacement alts come with the bolt hardware or do you normally reuse what Toyota put on your car?
